After more than fifty visits to Hedonism II, we've learned that the resort is about far more than a nude pool and an adults-only vacation. Our humorous nonfiction travel memoirs document decades of friendships, social adventures, unexpected challenges, and often-comedic experiences at Hedonism II.
We think much of it comes down to the people. Around the nude pool, couples and singles spend hours together every day for a week without phones, computers, or social media competing for their attention. They talk, laugh, flirt, and actually get to know one another. Sometimes that leads to sexual encounters. Sometimes it leads to friendships that last for decades.
Maybe people aren't just returning to Hedonism... they're returning to each other.

A Bliss Cruise isn't a traditional cruise with a few lifestyle events added. The entire ship is chartered for adults in the lifestyle and swinging community, creating an environment where couples can be open about who they are without worrying about who might be watching or judging them.
During the day, there are meet-and-greets, seminars, open playrooms while the ship is at sea, private room parties, huge pool-deck parties, clothing-optional areas, and swinger activities like the Car Wash and nude games. Add thousands of like-minded passengers, and the atmosphere is unlike anything you'll find on a regular cruise.
At night, the energy changes considerably. And don't kid yourself... eventually, much of it is focused on the playrooms and sex. Participation is never required, but the atmosphere of the entire cruise certainly tends to lead in that direction.
But Bliss isn't only about sex. It's also about freedom, friendships, adventure, and spending a week surrounded by people who understand the lifestyle without anyone having to explain it.
It's still a cruise... just with a very naughty passenger list.
For decades, the swinging lifestyle has taken us places we never expected to go and introduced us to people we never would have met otherwise. Along the way, we've built lifelong friendships, embraced extraordinary adventures, overcome a few challenges, and somehow strengthened our marriage in the process. Every experience became another story of friendship, trust, laughter, and the unexpected moments that shaped our lives together.

The biggest surprise about visiting nudist resorts wasn't the lack of clothing... it was how quickly nobody cared. What began with curiosity led to years of adventures, lifelong friendships, body acceptance, and a community where people were accepted for who they were rather than how they looked. Somewhere along the way, those experiences also became some very funny stories.
